Ingredients

  • 1 small
    bag popcorn, popped
  • 2 stick
    oleo
  • 2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    soda
  • 1 c
    peanuts, pecans or peanut butter

How to Make Popcorn snack

Step-by-Step

  1. Place popcorn in a large roasting pan. Mix and bring to a boil the next 4 ingredients. Boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from fire and add 1/2tsp baking soda. Mix well and pour syrup over popcorn. Add the nuts and stir to coat the popcorn with syrup.
  3. Place in a 300 degree oven for 1 hr. Stir every 15 minutes.
