  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    granulated white sugar
  • 1/4 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c
    karo light syrup
  • 2 Tbsp
  • dash(es)
  • 2 c
    pecans, halved
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar

How to Make Microwave Pralines


  1. Place brown sugar, white sugar, milk, karo syrup, salt and butter in microwavable bowl and stir. Cover with wax paper. Cook on high for 2 1/4 minutes.
  2. Stir. Cook on high an additional 2 1/4 minutes.
  3. Add pecans and vanilla. Stir and cook on high additional 60 seconds.
  4. Stir in powdered sugar
  5. With tablespoon, spoon onto wax or parchment paper. Store in sealed container when cooled.
