These jewels are very easy to make and take minimal ingredients. They make a very cute presentation for any festivity. You can use whatever kind of kiss you would prefer; mint truffle is good for St. Patrick's Day, cherry chocolate for Valentine's Day and Christmas, and the list continues. Be creative!!

How to Make Kiss Pies - Steph

  1. 350 degree oven. Roll out pie dough onto a lightly floured counter top. Place 10 kisses around the edges of the dough, about 2 1/2 inches apart. Take a knife and cut a 2 1/2 - 3" circle around the kiss.
  2. Fold half of the pie dough around top of dough and up to the tip of the kiss pinching edge. Now press together the edges and form criss cross; continue cutting doughe around kisses until all dough is used up. You can get about 14 rounds cut when re-rolling the scraps.
  3. Brush all little pies with egg white wash and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake for 20 - 28 minutes or until little pies are golden. Remove and let cool for five minutes before transferring to cooling rack. Dust each pie with powdered sugar and serve.
  4. If you have a biscuit cutter or glass that could be used to cut the dough, that would be even faster. ENJOY!
