How to Make Wartime Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil water. raisins,molasses,sugar & shortening together for about 20 minutes. Remove from heat & let cool.
  2. Mix together flour,baking powder & cinnamon.Add to cooled mixture. Put into a greased & floured tube pan.
  3. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees or until done.
