wacky cake
I received this recipe from Grandma Pletcher. When Grandpa had his first heart attack this was our dessert of choice because it did not require eggs. Unless we are having company, we eat this unfrosted.

Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 3/4 cup cooking oil
- 2 cups warm water
How To Make wacky cake

Step 1Sift all dry ingredients into an ungreased 9 X 13 cake pan

Step 2Make 3 wells

Step 3Mix together vanilla, oil, and vinegar. Pour equal amount into each well.

Step 4Pour two cups warm water over all ingredients.

Step 5Mix well with a fork. Do not over mix.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes.

Step 7After cooling add your favorite frosting or leave plain.
