Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - well beaten egg
- 1/3 cup pet milk
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make top stove coffee cake

Step 1Grease a heavy 9" pan. Cover the bottom with a layer of heavy brown wrapping paper cut to fit.Grease top layer of paper.

Step 2Sift together first 5 ingredients into a bowl. Mix together egg, pet milk, water, and oil.

Step 3Add all at once to flour mixture and quickly mix thoroughly.

Step 4Pour into pan. Sprinkle with a mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon.

Step 5Cover and bake on top of stove over very low heat 30 minutes till firm to the touch. lift out and remove paper while still hot.

Step 6For oven method omit paper and place uncovered in 375 degrees oven for 25 minutes
