This is a very light and summery dessert.We make this at Easter time.Very quick and easy.

  • 1 box
    duncan hines vanilla cake mix
  • 1 box
    small strawberry jello
  • 1
    tub of cool whip
  • 1
    container of frozen sweetened strawberries

How to Make Strawberry Creamy Dreamy Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Bake cake according to instructions on box.
  2. While cake is cooking make up jello according to box and set aside.Do not put in refrigerator.
  3. Thaw strawberries.( I do this overnight)
  4. Once cake is done,while still hot, poke holes in cake and pour jello mixture on top of cake.Cover and put in fridge and chill completely.
  5. Once cake is completely chilled, mix thawed strawberries and cool whip together and ice over entire cake.Cover and put back in fridge for about and hour or two.
  6. Can be garnished with fresh sliced strawberries on top.
