This is a very light and summery dessert.We make this at Easter time.Very quick and easy.

Ingredients

1 box duncan hines vanilla cake mix
1 box small strawberry jello
1 - tub of cool whip
1 - container of frozen sweetened strawberries

How To Make strawberry creamy dreamy cake

Step 1

Bake cake according to instructions on box.

Step 2

While cake is cooking make up jello according to box and set aside.Do not put in refrigerator.
Step 3

Thaw strawberries.( I do this overnight)
Step 4

Once cake is done,while still hot, poke holes in cake and pour jello mixture on top of cake.Cover and put in fridge and chill completely.
Step 5

Once cake is completely chilled, mix thawed strawberries and cool whip together and ice over entire cake.Cover and put back in fridge for about and hour or two.
Step 6

Can be garnished with fresh sliced strawberries on top.
