steve's banana split cake
My husband was craving a banana split, but we didn't have any ice cream. We had all other ingredients, so I made a cake w/ them and he loved it, as did my grandchildren. It's made w/ creamy cream cheese to give it a smooth taste.

Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 16 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1 small box banana instant pudding mix, i used sugar free
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 - 20 oz can crushed pineapple drained
- 2 cups diced strawberries
- 2 large bananas, diced
- 8 ounces cool whip whipped topping
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1/3 cup maraschino cherries, sliced
How To Make steve's banana split cake

Step 1Lightly spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. Heat oven to 350. In bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and butter, mix well. Press crumb mix into bottom of pan, bake for 5 mins. Let cool.

Step 2In lg bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in pudding mix, sugar, vanilla and milk. Beat until creamy. Spread cream cheese mix over cooled crust.

Step 3Spread pineapple over cream cheese mix. Sprinkle w/ strawberries and bananas. Spread cool whip over fruit. Sprinkle w/ walnuts. drizzle w/ heated hot fudge sauce. Sprinkle w/ cherries. Refrigerate 30 mins.
