Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    knox gelatin
  • 4 Tbsp
    cold water
  • 1 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • ·
    juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    small angel food cake
  • FROSTING

  • 1 c
    heavy cream whipped
  • ·
    fluffy coconut

How to Make Snow Ball Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  2. Add orange juice, lemon juice, sugar and salt. Let stand until slightly thickened.
  3. Fold in one cup heavy (whipped) cream and angel food cake cut in small pieces.
  4. Line large bowl with wax paper and pour mixture into it.
  5. When set, turn out on large plate; cover with 1 cup whipped cream and coconut (frosting).
