  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter milk
  • 2 - egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1-2 teaspoon red food coloring drops
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons melted butter (grease)
  • 200 grams unsalted butter
  • FOR ICING
  • 2 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 300 grams cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 120 grams unsalted butter

How To Make red velvet cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven up to 350 degree F. In a bowl whisk flour, salt, cocoa powder and baking soda
  • Step 2
    In another bowl beat unsalted butter and sugar well, then add vanilla extract, vinegar, red food coloring, butter milk and egg until it get fluffy

    Mix the ingredients of both the bowls and make a smooth batter
