raspberry coffee cake
Easy to make and a good cake for many occasions. I got this recipe from my sister-in-law back in the mid 70's. Continues to be a favorite.

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup (8 ozs) raspberry yogurt
- - powdered sugar for garnish
How To Make raspberry coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugar and butter, add egg and vanilla. Stri flour soda, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt together. Add alternately with yogurt to creamed mixture. Mix well. Pour in greased tube pan. Bake for 50 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
