I had an idea for some things in the pantry and made this cake last night. We loved it and hope that you will too.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    pumpkin cake mix, prepare as directed on box
  • 1 medium
    apple, peeled and chopped into small size chunks
  • 1/2 -3/4 c
    cinnamon chips
  • 1 c
    caramel bits (melts for baking), can use caramels
  • 2 tsp
    water

How to Make Pumpkin Apple Cinnamon Carmel Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350. Mix cake mix as directed on the box.
  2. Stir in apple chunks and cinnamon chips. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan.
  3. Cook for about 40-45 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes in pan, then turn out onto serving platter.
  4. Melt caramel with water in microwave until pouring/drizzling consistency. Pour over cooled cake.
