This rich and easy cake won me a blue ribbon at the 2011 Napa Town & Country Fair! Don't leave out the cream sherry!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellowcake mix
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup poppy seeds
  • 1 small pkg vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cream sherry

How To Make poppyseeed cake

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in large bowl and beat with electric mixer for 5 minutes. Pour into greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake 50 minutes, or until edges begin to pull away from pan. Cool completely before turning out of pan. Dust with powdered sugar.
