  • 16 oz
    box yellow or lemon cake mix
  • 3 oz
    pkg. vanilla or lemon instant pudding mix
  • 1/4 c
    poppy seeds
  • 4 large
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    hot water

How to Make Poppy Seed Quick Bread


  1. Heat oven to 350^. Line bottom of 2- 8x5-inch loaf pans ,with wax paper ,then spray pan; set aside.
  2. In your large mixer bowl combine the cake mix and pudding mix dry. Blend .
    Add the vegetable oil, and hot water.Mix well to blend. Add poppy seeds and eggs.
  3. Beat mixture for 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour evenly into the 2 prepared pans. Bake for 45 minutes or until tested done with wooden toothpick.
