This makes a delicious breakfast bread that is both delicate and moist.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces box yellow or lemon cake mix
  • 3 ounces pkg. vanilla or lemon instant pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup hot water

How To Make poppy seed quick bread

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350^. Line bottom of 2- 8x5-inch loaf pans ,with wax paper ,then spray pan; set aside.
  • Step 2
    In your large mixer bowl combine the cake mix and pudding mix dry. Blend . Add the vegetable oil, and hot water.Mix well to blend. Add poppy seeds and eggs.
  • Step 3
    Beat mixture for 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour evenly into the 2 prepared pans. Bake for 45 minutes or until tested done with wooden toothpick.
