Ingredients

  • 3 cups sifted all purpose flour
  • 3 sticks butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple in juice
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

How To Make pineapple pound cake

  • Step 1
    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time mixing well. Add vanilla extract.Pre heat on 350.
  • Step 2
    Sift flour one cup at a time and fold into batter. Do not mix with mixer! Add cup of crushed pineapples.
  • Step 3
    I use flour in the can, but you can grease and flour a bundt pan. Add mixure to pan. Bake on 350 for 1hr 15 min or when toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 4
    Pinaapple glaze recipe Melt 1/2 stick of butter. Add 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of crushed pineapples in juice. Pour over cake and enjoy!
