One of my favorite banana cakes...this cake is to die for...so very moist...the frosting is killer too!! Photo's are mine

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups ripe bananas mashed - about 4 medium
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- FROSTING
- 5 - 6 tablespoons peanut butter or more if stronger flavor is desired
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 5 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup milk or till desired consistancy
How To Make banana cake w/ peanut butter frosting

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease and flour 9 x 13 pan. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time.

Step 2Beat in bananas and vanilla.

Step 3In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Step 4Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

Step 5For frosting: In a large mixing bowl, beat the peanut butter and butter until smooth. Beat in powdered sugar and enough milk for desired consistency.

Step 6Spread onto the cake. Enjoy this very moist, delicious cake. It's so, so yummy!
