8oz. cultured sour cream

1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
ground nutmeg
3/4 c
packed brown sugar
1/2 c
walnuts, chopped
1 tsp
ground cinnamon

How to Make Overnight Cinnamon Coffee Cake


  • 1In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light & fluffy.
  • 2Add eggs, one at a time beating after each addition. Beat in sour cream.
  • 3Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  • 4Pour batter into greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • 5Combine brown sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon; mix well, and sprinkle over batter. Cover and chill overnight.
  • 6Uncover and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
