I made this cheesecake for a friend who loves cheesecake. My husband doesn't like things to be too sweet and I love the combination of chocolate, cream cheese, and berries, so I pulled all three together to make this amazing cheesecake. I hope you enjoy the tangy touch of the yogurt sauce.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This blackberry cheesecake is wonderful for summer. The creamy cheesecake is infused with blackberry flavor and has a crips chocolate crumb crust. It's drizzled with an easy blackberry yogurt sauce. A delicious final touch it adds a touch of tang and more blackberry flavor.

How To Make oreo blackberry cheesecake

Test Kitchen Tips
If the springform pan drips, add a pan of water on the lower rack to catch the drips.
  • Pulse chocolate cookies into crumbs.
    1
Remove the filling from 2 rows of Oreo cookies (about 24 cookies). Reserve the filling for the cheesecake. Place the cookie parts of the Oreos in a food processor. Pulse until you have fine crumbs. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Combine cookie crumbs and melted butter.
    2
Combine cookie crumbs with melted butter.
  • Add parchment paper to the bottom of a springform pan.
    3
Line a 9-10-inch springform pan lined with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Press the mixture into the pan.
    4
Once all the cookies are finely ground with the butter, press the mixture into the pan. Try to press it down so that it's firm and not crumbly. Make the crust layer at least 1/4" thick.
  • Blend the cream cheese, flour, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
    5
Mix the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, and Oreo filling in the blender or a large mixing bowl until all ingredients are evenly distributed and a little foamy.
  • Pour 1/3rd of the batter into the springform pan.
    6
Pour 1/3 of the mixture into the springform pan on top of the crust.
  • Add drops of blackberry preserves over the cream cheese filling.
    7
Using a spoon, drop 1/2 tablespoonful of the preserves over the cream cheese mixture, trying to evenly distribute them and not overlap.
  • Add another layer of cream cheese filling.
    8
Repeat layering with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Dollop remaining preserves.
    9
    Then the remaining preserves.
  • Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
    10
Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture. You will have these layers: cream cheese-preserves-cream cheese-preserves-cream cheese.
  • Bake the cheesecake.
    11
Bake the cheesecake in a 350-degree oven for 55-65 minutes or until the center has a little jiggle in the center of the cheesecake.
  • Cool baked cheesecake.
    12
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and cool.
  • Mix yogurt and blackberry preserves.
    13
Meanwhile, prepare the blackberry yogurt sauce. Mix the yogurt and preserves. Refrigerate.
  • Drizzle yogurt sauce over the cheesecake.
    14
Serve slices cold with the sauce drizzled on top.
