I love making this, My father loves this cake, if you want to make it diabetic, substitute the brown sugar sugar free brown sugar.

Ingredients
- 1 cup crisco shortening
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 4 kilograms eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
- 5 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ICING FOR CAKE
- 1 jar (28oz) apple butter
- 1 jar (28oz) apple sauce
How To Make old time stack cake

Step 1By hand mix the crisco,brown sugar, eggs,& flavoring together,Then gradually add the flour & cinnamon. Store in the refrigerator until well chilledover night then devide dough in 6 portions..

Step 2I use pam cooking oil for baking. Spray pam in your cake pan take & press your one portion in the pan cook 12 to 15 mins on 350. After your 6 layers are done

Step 3( Icing) Empty your apple butter & apple sauce in a pot and heat until it begins to boil also add 2 tsp cinnamon. place your 1 st layer In cake plate spread mixture ,then add another layer ,then spread your apple butter mixture repeat each layer until you have all 6 layers iced
