Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/3 cups thin milk (half milk, half water)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 - eggs
How To Make mother's day cake

Step 1Sift into a large mixing bowl the first 4 ingredients.

Step 2Beat in the softened butter, milk and vanilla. Beat two minutes.

Step 3Add the eggs and beat another 2 minutes.

Step 4Pour into greased and floured 10" cake pans. Bake for 35 minutes or until the cake tests done.

Step 5Frost with your favorite frosting. Also good as the cake for strawberry short cake.
