- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 teaspoon soda
- 4 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla (or other preferred flavoring)
- 1 dash salt
How To Make mother in law buttermilk cake

Step 1Cream together sugar, butter and eggs.

Step 2Separately sift flour, soda and salt. Add gradually to cream mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add flavoring.

Step 3Pour into tube pan and bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
