- 1 stick
- unsalted butter
- 2/3 c
- hershey's cocoa powder
- 1 box
- (1 pound) powdered sugar
- 2 tsp
- 1/4 c
- cold coffee
How to Make Mom's Mocha Chocolate Butter Frosting
- 1Using a food processor, cream the stick of butter. Add the cocoa and pulse until combined. Scrape down sides and then add the powdered sugar, vanilla and coffee.
- 2Scrape down the sides and add more coffee a tablespoon at a time, if needed, to produce a frosting that’s of spreadable consistency (careful to not make it too juicy).
- 3Makes enough frosting to frost one cake or 24 cupcakes.
