My mom made this cake when I was a kid. MOST PEOPLE HAVE IT WITH CHOCOLATE ICING MY MOM MADE IT WITH CREAM CHEESE ICING REALLY MAKES THIS A GREAT CAKE.

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup hersheys cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cups water
- CREEAM CHEESE ICING
- 12 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1/2 stick butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Step 1PRE- HEAT OVEN 350 DEGREES. SPRAY TWO 9 IN. PANS AND LINE WITH PARCHMENT PAPER.

Step 3BEAT EGGS AND SUGAR 3 MINS. ADD VANILLA AND MAYONNAISE, BLEND WELL THEN ON LOW SPEED ADD WATER,MIX .

Step 4MIX IN DRY INGREDIENTS UNTIL COMBINED. POUR IN PANS . BAKE 25 MINS.

Step 5COOL 10 MINS . REMOVE SET ON RACKS LAY TEA TOWEL GENTLY OVER EACH ONE TO COOL COMPLETELY about 20 to 25 mins.

Step 6BEAT CREAM CHEESE ,BUTTER AND VANILLA TIL CREAMY ADD POWDERED SUGAR SLOWLY . ICING CAKE STORE COVERED IN REFRIGERATOR.
