Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 1 cup applesauce or oil
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup cold brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
How To Make moist chocolate cake w/ peanut butter frosting

Step 1Heat oven to 300. Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine flours, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and baking powder.

Step 2In another bowl, beat eggs. Beat in applesauce or oil, coffee and vanilla. Beat in flour mix, alternately w/ buttermilk. Pour into pan, bake 1 hr, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool.

Step 3In bowl, beat butter and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in powdered sugar. Slowly beat in milk until spreadable. Beat 3 mins. Frost cooled cake.
