mocha frosting
I made this version of frosting to go with Lisa Glass's Black Magic Cake. Chocolate on chocolate is a bit much for me, so I decided to tinker with her frosting recipe a little and come up with a Mocha version.

Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons butter, softened (1 stick)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons coffee, strong
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa, unsweetened
How To Make mocha frosting

Step 1Put butter, vanilla, cocoa powder and coffee into a bowl, then slowly add the powdered sugar. Mix until completely blended.

Step 2Makes enough frosting for a nine inch two layer or a 9x13 cake.

Step 3(prep time is simply however long it takes a stick of butter to soften) ;)
