Meema's Secret Cheesecake
16 to18graham crackers, crushed to fine crumbs
2 (8) ozpackages cream cheese, at room tempature
4 largeeggs, at room tempature
2 tsppure vanilla extract
2 tspfresh lemon juice
1 ptsour cream
6 tsppure vanilla extract
How to Make Meema's Secret Cheesecake
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a spring form pan with butter. Wrap the bottom of the pan with heavy duty foil, to prevent leaking.
Mix cracker crumbs with butter and sugar and press in bottom and up sides of prepared pan.
Beat the cream cheese until easy to mix.
- Add 1 egg at a time beating well between each egg.
- Continue to beat as you add the sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.
- Pour over the graham cracker crust. smooth the top and Bake in a water bath for 55 minutes to 1 hour or just until set. Cool completely and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.
NOTE: OVER BAKING WILL CAUSE THE CHEESECAKE TO CRACK.
Mix the ingredients and spread over chilled cheesecake. Chill until set.
