  • 1 box
    lemon cake mix
  • 3/4 c
    wesson oil
  • 3/4 c
  • 1 pkg
    lemon jello (small pkg)
  • 4
    eggs added 1 at a time

  • 1 1/3 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c
    real lemon juice

How to Make Luscious Lemon Cake


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Blend Lemon Cake Mix with oil, water and Lemon Jello making sure to add only one egg at a time until well blended. * For less cholesterol, you may use 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites.
  2. Mix well for 2 minutes at medium speed of mixer and pour into sprayed/greased 13x9 cake pan. Bake in 350 degree oven on center rack @ 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle of cake comes out dry.
  3. For Topping: Stir the Powdered Sugar and Real Lemon Juice together with a wooden spoon in a separate bowl until smooth. While the cake is still warm, pierce holes on top of the cake with a straw and pour topping mixture over the entire cake.
  4. Share a slice of Sunshine with your family and friends!
