This cake is so easy and a nice surprise when you cut it! Better the next day to me also. The glaze takes on like a glazed donut. Yum!

How to Make Lime Shamrock Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
    Mix first four ingredients together. Place in a sprayed 9x9 pan and bake until top is golden brown.
  2. Remove from oven and poke holes all over the entire cake. The center does fall a bit but it' does that.
  3. Mix powdered sugar and lime juice until a good thick consistency. Maybe like a liquidy pudding. Pour over warm cake.
  4. I think it's best the next day
