This has a nice lemon flavor that is not to tart or overpowering. I made this for a family supper and there was nothing left.

Ingredients

1 box lemon cake mix. i use whatever is on sale
1 box lemon pie filling
500 milliliters heavy whipping cream i use dream whip

How To Make lemon cream cake

Step 1

Bake cake as directed on the box using a 9x15 baking dish. Let cake cool then cut in half.

Step 2

Cook pie filling as directed on the box. Let cool. Prepare dream whip as directed.
Step 3

When filling is cooled combine fold in the dream whip. Place 1/2 cake on dish use 1/2 the lemon mixture than place the other 1/2 on top and use rest of the mixture to cover the top.
Step 4

If there is any remaining cake left over keep in fridge
