joanie's cheesecake
About 20 years ago, my mother tasted our cousin Joanie's cheesecake for the first time and fell in love! Since then this is the only cheesecake my mom makes. It's one of my favorites too as well as my kids. Again, this is a family recipe that just keeps getting pasted down and no one knows how or who started making it. Hope you enjoy as well.

- 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 - 8 oz. soft cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons sugar for crust
How To Make joanie's cheesecake

Step 1Combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar and butter then press into a cheesecake pan (I use a spring pan). Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time then blend in sour cream. Spread into pan and place in oven preheated to 350. Bake 60-70 minutes. When cake is done, turn oven off and leave in oven with door open for 1 hour.
