How To Make homemade raspberry cake
Heat oven to 400. Lightly spray a 9" cake pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and baking soda, ( you can add a pinch of salt too.)
In another bowl, beat butter and 2/3 cup sugar until fluffy. Beat in vanilla and egg. Beat in flour mis, alternating w/ buttermilk.
Spoon batter into pan. Sprinkle top w/ raspberries and remaining sugar. Bake 25 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Great served w/ a dollop of whipped cream.
