Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
How To Make golden butter cake

Step 1Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour mix.

Step 2Pour into a greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for appx. 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Can be baked in any type of pan or made as cupcakes. May need to adjust the baking time depending on the pan you use.
