Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 medium apples
- 1/2 cup black walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
How To Make fresh apple cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8"x8" pan.

Step 2Peel, core and dice apples; set aside. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

Step 3In a large mixing bowl, cream together brown sugar, egg and softened butter. Add in dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in diced apples, chopped nuts and butterscotch chips until all ingredients are well combined.

Step 4Spread batter into prepared pan. Cook for 40-50 minutes until done. Cool before cutting.
