eggnog cake with rum frosting

I added a drop of milk to the frositng to make it thin enough to pour over cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 4 - eggs
  • 3/4 cup eggnog
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon rum
  • FROSTING
  • 4 tablespoons rum
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

How To Make eggnog cake with rum frosting

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Prepare bundt pan by sprayng it with non-stick spray
  • Step 3
    Put all ingredients for the cake in the mixing bowl and beat for 4 minutes. Pour into bundt pan.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, before turning out onto rack.
  • Step 5
    Make frosting by adding 4 Tablesspoons rum to 1 cup powdered sugar to make a thicker frosting. Put cake onto serving plate and pour frosting over cake.(add more rum if it does not pour freely). Decorate as desired and enjoy.
