This is an easy to make, moist, delicious cake with a tropical flavor. Take it to the next level by frosting it with a cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18 ounce) banana or yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (8 ounce) crushed pineapple, drained and juice reserved
  • 1 package (3 ounce) instant vanilla or banana pudding
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup sliced ripe bananas

How To Make easy hawaiian cake

  • Step 1
    Add water to reserved pineapple juice to make 1 cup.
  • Step 2
    Combine cake mix, pudding mix, pineapple, and the cup of pineapple liquid, eggs and oil. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in bananas and nuts.
  • Step 3
    Pour into two 9 inch layer cake pans which have been greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes and take layers out of pans and cool on wire rack completely.
  • Step 4
    Frost with a cream cheese icing.
