Ingredients
- 1 - box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup rum
- - small amount powdered sugar
- - butter
- - milk (if required)
- - pecans or walnuts for garnish (if desired)
How To Make double chocolate rum cake

Step 1Make chocolate cake as directed on package. Add 1 cup chocolate chips and 2 teaspoons vanilla to cake mix.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees F as directed on package.

Step 3Remove cake from oven and let cool a bit. Make sure it is still warm before adding rum. Poke holes into cake and slowly pour rum over cake.

Step 4Mix powdered sugar with some butter and vanilla (a small amount) and whip, add a bit of milk if needed. Pour over top of cake. Add some pecans or walnuts on top (if desired)
