dee dee's sticky bun cinnamon roll cake

Updated on Mar 14, 2014

I was playing with the ingredients of the Sock It To Me Cake when I accidently created this "bet you can eat just one slice" recipe. This breakfast cake or dessert has all the wonderful flavors of a cinnamon roll and it's loaded with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans for that wonderful sticky syrup you find on Sticky Buns. I was attempting to get a nice swirl of the cinnamon mixture in the cake, the results were far better than expected when this mixture went to the bottom of this cake forming a wonderful buttery sticky syrup like you find on sticky buns!
