Found this recipe years ago -- it had won 3rd place in a cranberry recipe contest. ***Note:The cake gets inverted at the end so be sure you have a platter that fits the size pan you are using.*** This cake is definitely NOT low in calories; therefore it is a good idea to make it for special occasions so the majority of the cake will be gone and you won't be tempted to eat more than you should. : ) : )

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
How To Make cranberry cream cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and lightly flour a 9 x 13 baking pan. This cake gets inverted at the end so you will need a platter that fits the pan size that you choose to use)

Step 2Prepare cake mix following package instructions. Combine cream and sugar in a separate bowl. Pour cake batter evenly into prepared pan. sprinkle cranberries over batter.

Step 3Pour cream mixture over cranberries. Bake 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick, inserted in the middle, comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes and then invert cake onto platter.
