Ingredients

  • 9 - eggs (7 separated 2 whole)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons decaf coffee
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 3/4 cup potato starch

How To Make coffee chocolate cake (passover)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl mix sugar, 2 whole eggs, yolks, vanilla, coffee, hot water, oil, cocoa, and potato starch.
  • Step 3
    In a separate bowl, whip whites till stiff peaks form.
  • Step 4
    Combine both mixtures well.
  • Step 5
    Pour into a 9x13 pan. Bake 1 hour.
