How To Make coffee lovers delight cake - cassie
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 8.5 inch loaf pan with non stick cooking spray. Or grease and flour. Set aside. Dissolve coffee into the milk. Set aside.
-
Step 2In a medium sized mixing bowl; sift the sugar, flour, salt and baking powder.
-
Step 3In a small bowl, lightly beat eggs and add vanilla extract.
-
Step 4Add the eggs, melted butter and coffee mixture to the dry ingredients and beat until well blended.
-
Step 5Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes or until pick inserted comes out clean. Cool for about 10 minutes, then turn out onto a rack to finish cooling completely.
-
Step 6Make your filling when cake is almost completely cool. Add the coffee to the water and vanilla and completely dissolve.
-
Step 7Beat butter in a medium bowl with a hand mixer until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar. Add the coffee mixture and beat until blended well. If too thick for you, beat in milk until you reach desired consistency.
-
Step 8Cut cake in half horizontally and spread half the cream on the bottom half of the cake. Place the top of cake over the filling.
-
Step 9Spread remaining butter cream on top of the cake and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles or some other pretty garnish...I picked chocolate as it goes so well with coffee... Enjoy!
