Ingredients

1 1/2 c
shortening
2 1/2 c
sugar
5 large
eggs
1 c
milk
1 c
coconut
1 tsp
coconut flavoring
3 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
baking powder

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
2Cream shortening and sugar.
3Add eggs, beating after each.
4Add milk and flavoring.
5Add sifted dry ingredients.
6NOTE: Be careful not to overbeat.
7Add coconut.
8Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan.
9Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 and 1/2 hours.
