sugar

eggs
1 c
milk

coconut
1 tsp
coconut flavoring
3 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
baking powder

How to Make Coconut Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • 2Cream shortening and sugar.
  • 3Add eggs, beating after each.
  • 4Add milk and flavoring.
  • 5Add sifted dry ingredients.
  • 6NOTE: Be careful not to overbeat.
  • 7Add coconut.
  • 8Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan.
  • 9Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 and 1/2 hours.
