I'm a weekly baker for a auction group we have and I make many different kinds of sweets. Which several of the recipes I used from this recipe group, Thank you ladies and gentlemen for sharing. I came up with this recipe because I wanted a different butter cake than what I'm use to making. I made it and my group loved it. Enjoy ya'll !!!!

Ingredients

  • CAKE CRUST
  • 1 - yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • FILLING
  • 1 package softened cream cheese
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar

How To Make cinnamon roll ooey goey butter cake

  • Step 1
    For cake crust: Mix the sugar,cinnamon and melted butter together,stir until sugar is dissolved add egg and beat well and stir in cake mix.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees, spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray and press cake crust into pan and set aside.
  • Step 3
    For filling: Beat cream cheese until creamy then add the cinnamon and butter, mix well add eggs, vanilla and powder sugar.
  • Step 4
    Pour into cake crust and spread evenly, put in oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes, remove and cool.
