cinnamon pudding cake
This is a really good old fashion type of dessert. There is a warm cinnamon pudding underneath the cake that can be spooned over cake and some ice cream.

Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- BATTER FOR CAKE
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon, ground
How To Make cinnamon pudding cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 13x9 pan and set aside. In a medium saucepan combine brown sugar, butter, water, and ground cinnamon and bring to a boil and then remove it from heat.

Step 2For batter, combine granulated sugar, flour, applesauce, baking powder, milk, and cinnamon. Then spread evenly in bottom of pan.

Step 3Then pour brown sugar liquid over the cake batter. At this stage it doesn't look real great but it's gonna!

Step 4Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until cake tests done in the center. Can serve warm or cool with ice cream or cool whip and of course the warm cinnamon pudding.
