This was my Mom's go to dessert. Everyone in my family loved chocolate (except me when I was a little girl). I do like this cake now a days. It is very moist.

Ingredients
- **CAKE**
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup vegatable shortening (*crisco*)
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup *coke*
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups minature marshmallows
- **ICING**
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons *coke*
- 1 box 10x powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans are my choice)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***
How To Make chocolate cocoa cola cake

Step 1In a large bowl, sift together the flour and sugar.

Step 2Mix together the margarine, crisco, cocoa, & coke. Boil for 1 minute in a saucepan. Pour this mixture over the flour sugar mixture. Add the buttermilk, baking soda and eggs. Mix well. Fold in the marshmallows. Bake in a 9x13 greased pan at 350* for 45-50 minutes.

Step 3Make the icing by placing the margarine, cocoa and coke in a saucepan and boiling for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add the powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts mixing well. Evenly pour over warm cake.
