Had a hankering for chocolate cake, but wasn't wanting to dabble in frosting today, so I made my friend Linda's recipe. She usually only served this with fresh whipped cream.

I also like the ease of this cake, a one bowl recipe...no eggs either.

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 tsp
    white vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    cold water

How to Make Moist Chocolate Cake In A Jiffy!

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with non stick cooking spray.

    Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and mix until well blended on med high of hand mixer.
  2. Pour in prepared cake can and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
  3. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
