When I have extra bananas I love to use this recipe and is a tasty dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas,about 3 bananas
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup 4 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate chips,melted
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup 4 ounces semisweet chocolate,finely chopped

How To Make chocoalate swirl banana cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees an grease 8x8 baking pan.
  • Step 2
    Combine flour and soda and mix well.Blend sugar and butter and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Add sour cream,banana,egg and vanilla and beat until smooth.
  • Step 4
    add the flour mixture and blend until just combined.do not overmix.
  • Step 5
    Gently fold in the melted chocolate and stir just till marbled pattern appears.
  • Step 6
    Pour into baking pan and bake 40-45 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Ganache: scald cream in a saucepan. Remove from heat an ad chocolate. Cover pan with a lid and set aside.After 15 minutes stir frosting till smooth.Put in a bowl and refrigerate till firm about 30 minutes. Frost cake.
