When I have extra bananas I love to use this recipe and is a tasty dessert.

Ingredients

all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 1/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c
butter, room temperature
1/2 c
sour cream
1 1/2 c
mashed bananas,about 3 bananas
1
egg
1 tsp
vanilla extract
3/4 c
4 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate chips,melted
1/2 c
heavy cream
2/3 c
4 ounces semisweet chocolate,finely chopped

How to Make Chocoalate Swirl Banana Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees an grease 8x8 baking pan.
  • 2Combine flour and soda and mix well.Blend sugar and butter and mix well.
  • 3Add sour cream,banana,egg and vanilla and beat until smooth.
  • 4add the flour mixture and blend until just combined.do not overmix.
  • 5Gently fold in the melted chocolate and stir just till marbled pattern appears.
  • 6Pour into baking pan and bake 40-45 minutes.
  • 7Ganache: scald cream in a saucepan. Remove from heat an ad chocolate. Cover pan with a lid and set aside.After 15 minutes stir frosting till smooth.Put in a bowl and refrigerate till firm about 30 minutes. Frost cake.
