I just wanted to jazz up my chocolate cake mix a bit. Turned out delicious...we enjoyed it! Mmmmm

Ingredients For cherry chocolate cake

  • 18 oz
    chocolate cake mix-or whatever oz. yours comes in
  • 21 oz
    cherry pie filling

How To Make cherry chocolate cake

    Heat oven to 350^. Spray an 9 x 13 -inch cake dish. Set aside.

    Make cake according to package directions or improvise..I added 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup peppermint coffee creamer, 3 eggs, and 1/3 cup vegetable oil.

    Pour cake batter into prepared pan. Spoon cherry pie filling over top of batter.spray with butter spray. Bake according to package directions. Cool. Serve with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate drizzle.
