Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 packages 8 oz cream cheese
  • 5 - eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 LAYER
  • 24 ounces sour cream
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make cheesecake that's a winner!

  • Step 1
Crust ¼ cup of butter melted 3 Tablespoons of sugar 1 ½ cups of crushed graham crackers Mix them together and pat into a 9”x 13” pan refrigerate for 10 minutes to set.
  • Step 2
1st layer 3 - 8 oz blocks of cream cheese – (I use regular and lower fat not a difference in taste) 5 eggs 1 cup of sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla Mix softened cream cheese until somewhat smooth add eggs one at a time, add sugar slowly, add vanilla and mix well. Pour into set crust and bake at 300 degrees for an hour.
  • Step 3
When cheesecake is done baking for an hour take out and let stand 10 minutes. Use this time to make 2nd layer. Do not turn off the oven. 2nd layer 24 oz of sour cream (I use regular, light and reduced fat and not a difference in taste) ½ cup of sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla Add all ingredients and mix well then pour over 1st layer. Bake an additional 10 minutes at 300 degrees. Let cool before putting it in the refrigerator. Serve cold it tastes better. You can add cherry fruit topping but we prefer it without it.
