3/4 cvegetable oil

1 csugar

2eggs

1 tspvanilla

1 cflour

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/8 - 1/4 tspground cloves

1 cgrated carrots
-
1/2 cchopped nuts
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

3 ozsoftened cream cheese

1 sticksoftened, butter
-
1 tspvanilla

2 cconfectioners' sugar
How To Make ~ carrot cake bars ~

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease an 11 x 7 baking dish. In a large bowl, cream the sugar and oil, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

2Add the flour, salt, spices, vanilla and baking soda. Beat well. Fold in the carrots and nuts. Spread batter into prepared dish.

3Bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on rack. Make frosting...

4Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add vanilla and confectioner's sugar and beat until creamy. Frost cooled bars. Cut into desired sized bars.
