Caramel Apple Dump Cake

Very easy and oh so delicious. You can use any type of pie filling but I particularly like apple. I remember in the 80s when the dump cakes were all the style but this one has a little bit of a twist to it and it is all for the good.

Ingredients

2
cans of apple pie filling
1/2 c
caramel sauce (like you would put on ice cream)
1/2 tsp
cinnamon (optional)
1 box
yellow cake mix
2 stick
melted butter (1 cup)
1/2 c
chopped pecans (optional)

How to Make Caramel Apple Dump Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a greased 9x13 dish, mix caramel and apples together
  • 2You may add 1/2 tsp cinnamon. I DID!
  • 3Spread evenly in pan. Pour dry cake mix over apples. spread out to edges. top with melted butter and pecans.
  • 4Bake 350 for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
