caramel apple dump cake
Very easy and oh so delicious. You can use any type of pie filling but I particularly like apple. I remember in the 80s when the dump cakes were all the style but this one has a little bit of a twist to it and it is all for the good.

Ingredients
- 2 - cans of apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (like you would put on ice cream)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 sticks melted butter (1 cup)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
How To Make caramel apple dump cake

Step 1In a greased 9x13 dish, mix caramel and apples together

Step 2You may add 1/2 tsp cinnamon. I DID!

Step 3Spread evenly in pan. Pour dry cake mix over apples. spread out to edges. top with melted butter and pecans.

Step 4Bake 350 for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
